Let me give you a brief update and please pass it on to your fiber-friends…
In 2019, when I turned 75, I sold my company to much younger, 36 year old, Michael Gallagher. Upon his untimely death in 2020, his executor took over the company.
Operating Strauch Fiber Equipment was beyond his ability. Rather than seeking any guidance, in 2021 he abruptly shut down the company with no warning given to anyone.
It saddens and angers me that the people that took over the company after Mike’s death quickly ruined it. What has been done to my former company is horrible!
So, there’s really only one thing I can do. As a courtesy to the fiber industry, I will do what I can to answer questions that folks have about their existing Strauch products. For me, it’s unfair to leave customers and retailers totally stranded.
Now, the good news…
Recently I have been working with a young man who wants to resurrect some of the "Strauch" product line.
